Stella is a cream Persian female cat. Both of her parents are out of National winners. Stella is from my very first Persian litter. I remember taking her to a show in West Palm Beach, Florida and she was 4 months to the day at the show. There were over 100 kittens at the show and I could not believe that she was making finals! I had so much fun showing her as a kitten.
One of the things that I like about Stella is her big eyes! This cat is very extreme yet she is still very sweet and open. I never had to worry about weight with her as she was solid from the start and is a very good eater.
Stella did very well as a kitten at the shows, but by the time she was an adult she already figured out that the shows were not for her! She became miserable in the judges ring and it made it very difficult for the judges to want to handle her. After several shows she just got worse. As heart breaking as it was for me and after over 100 points I could not grand her.
While showing Stella I met a lot of breeders that were more than interested in who I was and what lines I was working with. Stella was my first litter and she was like hitting the jackpot. Lets face it, showing cats is a competition and when you have bred something nice that is winning people start talking to you.
