Cappy is a Solid Red male Persian cat. He was my very first solid color breeding Persian male. Thank you Cheryl and Bob Lorditch for getting me started. Cheryl and Bob acquired Cappy through Ann Peavy (CFA judge) as they worked together, while they were still breeding Persians. I am very fortunate to have this boy as Ann is no longer breeding and Cappy was the last of Ann's lines. I know this because Ann told me this a few years ago when I clerked for her. As long as I am breeding I will continue to keep this ever so important line alive. Cappy's father was a solid black Persian who was 2nd Best Cat CFA. Behind Cappy is bloodlines such as: Wynden, Marhei, Jovan, Barb-B, Bryn Mawr, Simbelair , Cattrax and Mystichill. For most breeders/exhibitors today the may not know those lines. For those of us that have been around longer than 10 years we remember how these names dominated the national awards.
