Over the last 3 years I have carefully aquired the top Persian Cat blood lines that I want to work with. I have added lines such as Wynden, Pajean, Parti Wai, Revillion, Wishstar and Candirand. I have been focusing on Solid, Parti-Color and Bi-Color Persians.
In CFA I have been showing and granding cats of my own breeding and other breeders cats that I have bought. I have campaigned an adult cat for entire year. Campaigning Sizzle (solid red male Persian) for an entire year required: a very special cat with a good temperment, traveling all over the country by driving anywhere from 2 hours to 20 hours every weekend or getting on a plane and flying to shows. I learned how to carefully plan what shows I go to and what shows to avoid. There are 3 levels to showing cats: showing cats to achieve Grand Champion status, running for a regional win and then there is running a cat for the ultimate National win. With Sizzle I achieved a 4th Best Regional win and a 3rd best of breed Nationally. Not bad for my first campaign. I must admit traveling every weekend is expensive and tiring.
